Plan an uplifting event to remember them…
SUDC UK currently receives no public funding. All of the work it does is supported through private donations and revenue generated by event planners like you. In fact, at the moment 100 percent of SUDC UK’s revenue comes from fundraising events. Family fundraiser events are essential to the work of SUDC UK. Planning a fundraiser within your community is a great way to honour your child or a child you know and help raise awareness of Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood and support the SUDC UK’s mission.
A community fundraiser could be anything from a cake sale, a 5k walk or run, a family scoot, a car boot sale or nearly new sale to a more lavish black-tie ball and auction. Regardless of the size of your audience, SUDC UK is here to support your vision. SUDC UK can also set up a dedicated fundraising page and donation link for you on it’s KindLink platform linking to social media and your memorial site if you have one. SUDC UK is also registered with JustGiving, GoFundMe, eBay and VirginGiving. So, if you are interested in planning an event, or simply want to learn more, please contact us today!
If families are registered with the SUDC Foundation they can also access SUDC Foundation’s event planning resource guides in the private access area of the SUDC Foundation website.
