SUDC UK TEAM

Lorna is paediatric nurse with over two decades of experience supporting children of all ages and their families across a range of settings from high dependency to community care, education, research, and family support. She has always worked closely with families and professionals to ensure care is individualised and holistic.

Lorna trained in Birmingham, then in 2017 obtained her postgraduate teaching qualification and in 2025 completed a PGCert in Health Psychology.

“I applied for the family support nurse role at SUDC UK because they are a charity that truly makes a difference through research and by supporting families during the most difficult of times. The team is compassionate, proactive, and deeply committed, so I’m proud to be part of it. For me, it’s all about making a difference, and I’m grateful to be able to use my experience to support those affected by SUDC”.
