A special day out for families whose toddler or child died suddenly and unexpectedly was hosted by Nikki, Helen and Camilla of SUDC UK this summer on Saturday 6th July at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo.
It was a fabulous day which included FREE entry for all the families, including access to the Zoo, butterfly house and Hullabazoo farm and play area, a unique opportunity of animal handling specifically organised by SUDC UK. Memorial Tree planting also took place – SUDC UK and ZSL Whipsnade Zoo wished to support a lasting, special way to remember and honour all SUDC children.
The Gooden family hosted their 5th Community Walk Remembering Rex on May 10th 2019. Over one hundred walkers registered this year to walk the 7.5K around Knole Park in Sevenoaks, Kent. It was a glorious morning, bathed in sunshine to remember Rex and raise £3,200 for SUDC UK.
The third annual ‘Bovingdon’s Summer Scoot’ was a glorious fun-filled sunny day. Around 130 children scooted in memory of Rosie Speed and families raised £2172 which will be doubled by BP plc matching scheme to support SUDC UK.
