Throughout March, we’ll be sharing important information about Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC). Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn and help spread awareness by sharing our posts with #SUDCAwareness.

March 18th is National Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood Day, and there are three meaningful ways you can get involved:

1. Spread the word – Share our social media posts, wear SUDC merchandise, contact your MP, or perform acts of kindness to support families and raise awareness.

2. Join our free webinar – Make sure you are signed up to our newsletter and we will send our brand new webinar to you on 18th March. The webinar will provide facts about SUDC, family stories, current research, and our care and resource recommendations. Sign up here.

3. Shine a light – Light a candle at 6 PM in memory of children and in support of their families.

Donate

SUDC UK currently receives no government funding. All of the work it does is supported through private donations, corporate philanthropy and revenue generated by fundraising events and initiatives. Thank you! We are so grateful for your support.

Your donations really do make a difference.

£1.80 – could send a card to a family on their child’s birthday to show they are cared for and their child is remembered.

£18 – could provide guidance and resources to a family to help a brother or sister cope at school after their loss.

£180 – could fund a family to register with SUDC UK and receive ongoing advice, support and understanding for 3 months.

£1,800 – could fund an SUDC UK family day, providing comfort by bringing together children and adults who share similar experiences.

£18,000 – could fund life saving research. Helping us to understand how to make SUDC predictable and preventable.
